We are the people of Mary Queen of the Apostles Parish, in Brook Park, Ohio, dedicated to following the example of our Lord, Jesus Christ, through the Scriptures and Traditions of the Roman Catholic Church. We gather together to celebrate, to share, and to be nourished by the Eucharist. We promote religious education, spiritual growth and moral values by being faithful to the teachings of Jesus Christ. To show our love for God and one another, we live our lives committed to the dignity and salvation of each person, and we live our faith through compassion and service to those in need.

We are grateful to everyone who signed up for Adoration on Tuesdays. You are welcome to pray in the church, which is open Monday-Friday, 8:30-4PM (except on holidays), keeping in mind that Jesus is present 24/7 in the Holy Eucharist in the Tabernacle.
STREAMING
LIVE-STREAMING OF MASSES We will stream and upload the 8AM Masses on Monday and Tuesday mornings and the 4:30PM Sunday Vigil to enable our homebound to connect with the parish. For the rest of the week, EWTN telecasts a number of daily Masses, and our Cathedral streams its weekday Masses at 12N. On Sundays, besides the Masses on EWTN, Channel 43 (WUAB-TV) broadcasts two Masses: 8AM and 10AM from our Cathedral. We realize this will be an inconvenience to some folks, but we tried to reach a compromise based on our recent survey. Initially, one possibility was to cut the streaming entirely but we will not do that.
Here's the link to "Q-Tube":

We will also livestream these Masses on our parish Facebook page. You can view the video and other information on this page without being a Facebook member which you can access directly from our parish website mqabrookpark.org or Facebook:

About an hour after Mass concludes, the video will be uploaded to Q-Tube (our parish's YouTube channel). which you can access directly from our parish website: mqabrookpark.org or at "Q-tube" as shown above.

From Fr. Michael
Brothers and Sisters,
A blessed feast of Christ the King to you! This is a relatively young celebration in the 2,000-year history of the Church. It was initiated in 1925 during the aftermath of the First World War when poisonous ideologies like Socialism, Marxism, and Communism were on the rise and, inherent to their humanistic views, atheism as well.
Thus, Pope Pius IX began the celebration of Christ the King, observed originally in October, as a reminder to the world that our true leader to whom we are accountable is Jesus Christ. It was probably something of a message to corrupt leaders as well that said, You’re felonious reign will not last nor end well for you.
The twentieth century would go on to become the bloodiest in history for the Church, outpacing even ancient Rome’s tyrannical persecutions, to make more martyrs than the previous nineteen centuries combined. The kingdom of Satan cast a long shadow over the world and would inspire humanist governments in the Holocaust of the Jewish people and Holodomor of Ukraine.
Pope St. Paul VI moved this feast to the end of November and the conclusion of the liturgical year to help focus our attention on the Last Things: death, judgment, Heaven, and Hell. This feast encourages us to keep marching under the banner of Christ the King (or, if we are under another, to come under Christ’s for eternal safety). There is no salvation in the world’s progressivism.
Take heart, Jesus has overcome the world! He has already won and the humanistic systems of the past century, which always crush people and destroy societies, along with any contemporary reformulation of these, are conquered by the love and truth of Jesus.
A blessed Thanksgiving to you and your families! Gratitude is something for which every Christian should be known. We are blessed beyond measure with the gift of knowing God and the grace to enter into his Trinitarian life. There is no hardship that should make us ungrateful, even in the midst of our utmost difficulties, as none of them can separate us from the love of Christ.
As we take time to give thanks—to God and to one another—I am especially grateful for all of you. It was a joy to call this parish home for a year during my diaconal ministry, and I am blessed to be among you again! Thank you for your love, encouragement, and patience. May you know God’s consolation this holiday week.
In amore Christi,
Fr. Michael

ANDREW THE APOSTLE | CATHOLIC SAINTS All of the saints had a story before they met Christ. For St. Andrew, he was a fisherman. Hearing the call of Christ, Andrew and his brother Peter left everything behind to follow Jesus. Join Dr. Ben Akers and Mary McGeehan as they discuss St. Andrew, his life, and the example he provides to all Christians.

ABRAHAM: FATHER OF FAITH & WORKS He left his home, the bones of his ancestors, and the false gods of his fathers to follow the God of glory. Excruciating trials, weary miles of desert travel, and even the command to offer his son Isaac as a sacrifice did not deter him. Mount your camels and ride back in time to discover Abraham, the only man called the "Friend of God."
