We are the people of Mary Queen of the Apostles Parish, in Brook Park, Ohio, dedicated to following the example of our Lord, Jesus Christ, through the Scriptures and Traditions of the Roman Catholic Church. We gather together to celebrate, to share, and to be nourished by the Eucharist. We promote religious education, spiritual growth and moral values by being faithful to the teachings of Jesus Christ. To show our love for God and one another, we live our lives committed to the dignity and salvation of each person, and we live our faith through compassion and service to those in need.

Fr. Rob

Dear Parishioners,

I am happy to announce that we have hired a new music director for Mary Queen of the Apostles Parish. His name is John Franks and John is starting with us this weekend. John is a seasoned organist and music director and very excited about complementing and enhancing the music ministry at Mary Queen of the Apostles. Please join me in welcoming John to our parish family.

I am very grateful to the substitute musicians who provided music for our weekend liturgies and for the weekday funeral masses. Their time, talent and generosity were very much appreciated.

I have not received any further information from the Diocese about the associate priest who is to be assigned to Mary Queen of the Apostles and St. Bridget of Kildare. In the meantime, Fr. Donald Ewulu, Fr. Joe Workman and Fr. Bob Kraig (retired) have committed their time to assisting with our parish masses. They are assisting at both Mary Queen of the Apostles and St. Bridget of Kildare.

Many thanks to all who helped with our parish picnic last Sunday. The food was delicious, the gathering of so many parishioners, the games and raffles were a lot of fun. I appreciated the opportunity to meet more of our parish family.

Thank you for welcoming me to the parish and for all your kindness.

God bless you,

Fr. Rob Wisniewski
