We are the people of Mary Queen of the Apostles Parish, in Brook Park, Ohio, dedicated to following the example of our Lord, Jesus Christ, through the Scriptures and Traditions of the Roman Catholic Church. We gather together to celebrate, to share, and to be nourished by the Eucharist. We promote religious education, spiritual growth and moral values by being faithful to the teachings of Jesus Christ. To show our love for God and one another, we live our lives committed to the dignity and salvation of each person, and we live our faith through compassion and service to those in need.

MEN'S SPIRITUA,LITY GROUP

MEN’S SPIRITUALITY GROUP AT MARY QUEEN OF THE APOSTLES Have you ever asked - What does it mean to be a Catholic man? What is authentic masculine spirituality? If so, your answers may have touched on thoughts such as - Men need authentic brotherhood. Families need holy husbands and fathers. The world needs men to witness to Jesus Christ. With these and similar questions and thoughts in mind, a men’s spirituality group (yet unnamed) will begin meeting at Mary Queen of the Apostles Parish on the first and third Saturday of each month commencing in October. Video and discussion presentations will focus on centering our hearts on Jesus to grow in faith and courageously live out the mission God calls us to. For further info contact, Bob Huczel at 216.433.1440 x203. Or better yet, mark your calendar and join us November 15 and December 6. The gathering is 9:30–10:45 AM to get us home for our valuable weekend family time.

SAINT CHARLES BORROMEO: THE GOOD SHEPHERD As the Cardinal-nephew of Pope Pius IV, Saint Charles Borromeo was one of the wealthiest and most powerful men in all of Rome. Yet he chose the extraordinary challenge of reforming the enormous Archdiocese of Milan to the pampered life of a Renaissance prince, and willingly spent himself in the service of his flock.
